We stayed recently for a wedding nearby. The cottage was beautiful, well stocked with everything you could need and set in secure and well kept gardens. A welcome grocery pack and home-made scones gave it the finishing touches.

The setting is absolutely idyllic and our cottage was beautiful with a terrific view of the garden. The hostess Frances was so friendly and our welcome pack of scones and homemade jam was delightful. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

We spent 4 nights at Balrath and were extremely pleased! As an American, I was quite surprised at all this location had to offer at a price that was much better than the other hotels at which we stayed during our trip.
