Lough Ramor Caravan and Camping Park a beautiful caravan park conveniently situated at Ryefield, Virginia, near the border between counties Cavan and Meath.
The site is just 500m off the N3 and 5km south of Virginia.
It sits on the scenic southwestern shore of Lough Ramor, one of Ireland’s most popular and beautiful lakes, and is a popular location for angling and boating.

The camping area at Lough Ramor is generously sized and clever landscaping ensures a degree of privacy for all guests during their stay. Guests can also access a lovely picnic area overlooking the lake.
In addition, there is a designated swimming area on the lake itself. The calm waters of Lough Ramor mean it is an accessible and safe place to swim. Many guests enjoy swimming out to one of the 32 small islands that are found on the lake.
Both rowing boats and motorboats are available for hire from the caravan park at a reasonable fee and can be used away from the swimmers on the lake. Boat hire at Lough Ramor is ideal whether guests are looking to have a relaxing day on the water, explore the islands of the lake, or even if you want to enjoy a spot of fishing. Keen anglers can also cast off from various spots around the lake without needing to use a boat.
